Our School

John Cotten Tayloe is located in Historic Washington, North Carolina.   Washington was founded in 1776 and is said to be the first town named for George Washington.  It is located on the Pamlico River east of Greenville, NC.

 

JCT is one of 14 schools in the
Beaufort County School System.

It is a second and third grade school
with an enrollment of approximately 560.

Our staff  consists of 43 teachers, 9 teacher assistants, 
2 administrative personnel, 8 bus drivers, 5 cafeteria workers, and 10 After School Enrichment Program employees.
